I'm going to stop using this journal. I have a new one (tousled_bird), but I think my time with this one is up. New school year, new start.

Of course, I've added/will be adding most of my friends on this journal to that one, I'm just frankly bored and my attention has been lost by this username (very much like it might if I had ADD *spaz*). Of course, if I forget to add you, just add me. It's all cool, I can dig it.

Gawd, I have had a crappy day >.< Went to sleep early last night, around 11, which is good for me. Supposedly. Woke up SO tired. Went to school, barely lasted through coach-induced-hell (damn bastards in my class, I KILL YOU!!! >.<). Went to the nurse with a really bad headache, and crashed. Straight through math. Slept through the WHOLE DAMN CLASS. Now I don't know what's going to be on the test Wednesday. So, the headache stayed, and everything else was pretty shitty. Mr. Evan's was really pissed at me for some reason, and I failed the history exam I was sure I aced.

And my lyric wheel submission is due tomorrow! I have such writers block that it's gonna SUCK ASS...

There were good points though. Had a mediocre Java day, found out I have an A- in the class. Huzzah. Seriously, thought I was failing it. Well, just goes to show you... something or other >.>

Now that the play is over, I have nothing to do after classes... I miss it ;__; Now I'm just a normal person again!

Many thing have happened since I last updated.

Two nights ago, I finally saw Killing Time, the play I've been helping with costumes for. God, amassing! I loved it! GREAT JOB, GUYS! You know who you are, and I love you! You made a great play better and I'm soooo so so so proud of each and every one of you!

Slept over at Gabby's after the play, with Heather and Theresa. Gourged ourselves on chinese food and watched a WAAAAY fucked up movie. Teaser: there was a girl with eyes on her boobs. I'm convinced it was carefully disguised necropheliac porn.

Went to Little Tokyo with my dad yesterday, though being broke as I am, I wasn't able to buy as much anime as I would have liked... I got Gravitation #4 (omgSQUEE) and Wild Act #5 (I loooove this manga *_*). Other things I bought include (but are not limited to) a red formal kimono (with an OBI that I can TIE- beat that, bitch) and POCKY! Oh yes, crack for those of us with no money for real drugs. I am quite partial to strawberry. I ate two boxes -_- Also had REAL ramen and shumai. Naruto, I see why you loooooove <3 it so much.

Today I'm supposed to go with my 'posse' to the AMC, going over to Gabs' at 1... I suppose now is a good time to watch those Naruto episodes Matteo lent me...

Fuck it's been a long time since I've posted... A lot has happened. Well, perhaps not all that much. Really, I think I'm just going to have nice long rant on my private LJ (because there are simply so many things I just need to get out of my system). But I'll tell you all junk to, so don't feel left out XD

The dance rocked my socks. I loved it. Slow danced with 9, count'm 9, guys (even if I did kind of throw myself on them >.>). Matteo even twirled me! And Alex dipped me XD Made me laugh. Liz and I went together and spazzed out before the party getting ready. And ta the end of the dance, we took a bunch of roses and stuck'm all over ourselves! Even in our teeth, like tango dancers ^_^ Yeah, wow... But it was fun, even if the music sucked (DIE, TENDY POP, DIIIIIEEEEE!!! >.<)

My grades... not so good. Now that I'm helping out with the play again, I get home at about 10 each night. And in english, we're doing some big-ass Odyssey essay, so THAT'S kind of spiraling downward too. Got an 83% on my suprise Java quiz, though. O_O It was... unexpected ^_^;; But needless to say, the homework grades in all of my classes are just sliding on down to zeros >.> But my quizes and test are still satesfactory, I think.

And on top of that, I've not had time to watch all the Naruto DVDs Matteo lent me!!! *sulks*

Generally, though, I feel... crappy. Like my the bottle of my self-esteem just broke and slowly dribbled out down the kitchen sink (for lack of a better metaphore... eheheheh...)

Wow, this is a long entry compared to my last one! Still more topics too, one of which is MY BABY-AU RP!

ATTENTION ALL NARUTO RPERS! Er... accepting requests to... join? We can allow one more person in, I think... So far it's Sparky, Jyuu, and me... So yeah.

And if anyone has extra time on their hands, I need a new beta. I think I'll just post the second chapter of IYE as is, though.

Which brings me to this:

CHAPTER 2 OF IN YOUR EYES...

Shikamaru looked curiously at the package Ino had just handed him after she jumped through the open window he was currently standing beside. “These are the documents Hokage wanted?” He asked, staring at her blankly.

“No,” she said sarcastically, putting a hand on her hip and looking slightly annoyed, “They are little tiny bunny rabbits for Chouji to eat. Of course these are the documents! If they weren’t, would I have breached 20 some-odd security devices just to get them?!”

He shrugged lightly, he wasn’t going to even start with Ino- she was already peeved at him from this morning. Truly, he was still asleep in Ino’s bed- with the blonde still snuggled safely into his arms to boot- and thusly couldn’t really be blamed for his blatant ignorance of the situation. His mind drifted as they walked back to Konoha, thoughts straying to the events of the day. Unfortunately, he was unable to sleep as long as he would have liked in the morning, having been woken up (again) by Ino's screams of 'We're late! We're late! We are so unbelievably late!' and being jostled by her jumping out of his arms. He had missed the warmth. Smirking lazily and getting dressed, he had gone to make breakfast for them both. Of course, this meant that he raided her cabinets and threw her an energy bar as he unwrapped one of his own. Not the most healthy breakfast in the world, but it would do. Usually he thought it much too annoying to even put the effort into getting up to help someone other than himself, but this time, curiously enough, he hadn't minded. Ino had pecked him on the cheek as a way of thanks and they had rushed out the door to their meeting with the Hokage. He still insisted that the feel of her soft lips on his cheek really wasn’t the best part of the day. The mission had been simple enough, just a simple ‘reclaiming’ of information. There had been a tip that Itachi (he was still S-ranked, so they had better watch out) was getting close to the Leaf, but the reports were all in the village to the north of them who would not hand them over. Ino and he had snuck in (well, mostly Ino- he was on guard duty) and simply snatched the necessary documents. Easy and best of all not very time consuming.

“Oi, Shika! Wake up!” His head snapped up as Ino waved her small hand in front of his eyes, coming face to face with a very sweetly smiling girl. This was not a good sign. “I’ll forgive you for not waking me up if you take me out for sushi!” She said in a sugar-coated, melodious tone as she blinked demurely.

Shikamaru nodded passively, this was almost a tradition already. They’d come home from a mission, and Ino would make him take her out for sushi. Well, not make him per se- he really enjoyed his time with her, when it was available. So, with all of the years behind it, what was the use in complaining that he was tired? It was not as if he stood a chance of dissuading the bossiest kunoichi in all of Konoha from dragging him half way across town. He sighed, offered his arm to Ino as a gentleman should (one of the conditioned responses she had drilled into his little genius brain about four years ago), and proceeded to walk with her toward their favorite sushi joint.

A while later, Shikamaru gazed at the trees that lined the little lane he was currently walking down on his way back from dinner. He had been down this way many a time- it was, after all, the way to his apartment. Wondering vaguely if Temari would actually be home, he continued on his way- his lazy stride taking him step by step closer to the very place he least wanted to be. After he had walked Ino to her door, and kissed her goodnight (it was innocent, he swore it) she had insisted that he go right back to his house, that there would be no more avoiding Temari f she had any say in the matter. Which she did, of course, as she had taken total control of his life within the first few months of knowing him. He would have preferred not to, but Ino said that if he didn't, he could never crash at her house again- not to mention that she'd beat him up. Ino, for some reason, actually liked Temari. So, given the choices, he chose to face Temari over the prospect of being homeless the next time he walked out (or the next time he was thrown out, which ever came first). Yes, Temari was much less of a risk to his daily life than that blonde hellion.

And that was how he found himself here, staring up at the home he shared with his girlfriend, and hoping against hope that he would suddenly have an excuse not to be there. He hated to apologize to Temari, it just wasn’t something he did often- he knew she’d be surprised at least. She always made a big deal over things that really didn't matter, over things that were trivial. But then again, he did care for her very much, and some part of him, some little section of his brain, wanted to go in there and beg for forgiveness. Not that he would do such an illogical thing, but the urge was there. Steeling his resolve, he walked up the steps to number 301, unlocked the door, and stepped inside warily. Okay, no pottery was being thrown at him- that was a good sign. Looking around, he immediately noticed that the house was devoid of all life. The kitchen where Temari would normally be making dinner was vacant, as was the bedroom they shared. He made his way over to the living room of their small home, pondering this unexpected turn of events. Usually she would be home by now, back from her daily diplomatic missions since about 3 o’clock, and cooking some form of their evening meal. Perhaps she had guessed that he’d gone for dinner with Ino- she did, after all, know that was a tradition- and had gone out like she did when he wasn’t around. He suddenly noticed that he had, indeed, completely memorized her schedule for any given day. He determined that he had way too much awake-time on his hands, and starting immediately he would have to sleep at least two more hours a day. That resolved, he then spotted a small scrap of paper on the coffee table. How strange. If anything, Temari was a clean freak at home; it made no sense that she would leave anything just lying around. Normally, it would have been sprayed with water, wiped, sanitized, and eventually thrown away making the house immaculate once more. Picking it up, he scanned what appeared to be a note written in his off-again/on-again girlfriend’s hand writing. ‘This is not good,’ he thought and smacked his forehead with a free hand.

“Ah, shit.”

Yeah, I know, it's crap >.> But I'm not particularly inspired now... *kicks it* Well, enjoy...

Another day... ho-hum, pig's-bum... Except...

I'M IN MY PAJAMAS! IN PUBLIC! SORTA! XD

Today is pajama jammy jam day, and so we all get to wear out jammies to school ^_^ I like my pajamas. At the moment, I'm wearing Spongebob Squarepants *sweatdrop* Don't even ASK. Perhaps they did this because tonight is semi-formal, and they figure we're not going to pay attention anyways! In fact, I'm not paying attnetion RIGHT NOW! Isn't amazing how they predict what we'll do so well?

The AU RP is going well. In fact, it's splendiferous. Getting something going on in the ot3 dept, of ya know what I mean ^_~

Really, I should be doing my math homework, or studying for my java quiz, or even painting my nails for tonight. But, er... I'd rather do this! Besides, someone stole my homework sheet, I wouldn't know what to do anyways.

Yesterday, I got cut from the swim team ;_; Oh well, now I get to help with costumes again! YAY. Theresa and I had to spraypaint a shirt yesterday, and you could tell we inhaled just a LITTLE too much. We went and danced in the parking lot. It was cool XD

Oh! And I also got bloodylines's letter!!! SQUEE! I never get mail >.> Anbu, I'm working on your letter!

Well, free period is almost over, so I better at least TRY to get some work done...

Ha, the longest part read at one time as of yet! Go my mad Naruto-reading skillz. Last couple of days have been hecktic, involving Itachi-drawing, crazy-dream-having, and even ::gasp:: horrible-swimming! OH NO! My, my, what is the world coming to?

I had swim tryouts today, I was veeeery nervous. So nervous, in fact, that I had another memory lapse and I can't remember the 1st half of the day anymore... -_-

I know I asked Alex to the dance! XDDD HI, ALEX!!! lol, seriously though, we'd only go as friends. I think lil Alex is scared we'll start rumours. Well, Alex is a pimp (LMAO) and shouldn't worry of such things.

Plus, I am the Oh-Great Pimpilicious Hoe-Master Lauren. Say my name, bitch.

So, back on topic >.> I show up and change into my swim suit and LOW AND BEHOLD- I KNOW PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING OUT! *insert squee* Alex and Joey and Matta and Diana and such people... We swam, and I couldn't believe it- I kept up for the most part! I was so proud. I think I swam about a 1075... Anyways, the verdict is...

I'M ON THE TEAM! Never mind that everyone who tried out got on... >.> I'm still on the team! So... I'm excited.... Heheheheheh...

Well, time for homework... And procrastinating... ^-~
