The Story
Sam and Dean Winchester are brothers fighting off the Supernatural: Demons, Witches, etc. They never had real problems with it until a new Demon rises up to lead the rest of the Demons to control the world. Lilith. In the past five years, Dean and Sam have been recruiting hunters to help put down the powerful Demon. They are making a Band of Hunters. Sam and Dean only chose the most skillful and most knowledge of hunters to join the band.
During those years, demons have been breaking through hell with the help of their Master Lord, Lilith. She's been breaking through the gates of hell releasing demons to help her reach her goal: Take over the world. Most demons are very committed to Lilith, but for the other few, they are not. The demons that are committed to Lilith would do anything for her. Even risk going back to Hell. But for the other few, their only interest is not to go back to Hell and cause chaos. "Fun" chaos for them, but have no intention on helping Lilith.
It's a war between the Demons and the Hunters. Pick your side.
About the Community
Band of Hunters is a RPG based on the CW's Supernatural Series. It's a mix of OC characters and the TV Show's characters. You could be Sam Winchester, or you can be a made up character like Brian Hayner, or something like that. This is a new community, so please don't join just because of the lack of members! Title: Deiectus.
Rating: PG-13 right now, will be moving to NC-17 eventually.
Genre: MODERN AU, Drama, Romance, Angst, Suspense, Action.
Pairing: Centers on Kakashi/Kabuto, though there are many pairings already established, such as MinaKushi, AsuKure, KisaIta, etc.
Summary: Kakashi had never planned on taking a time off from work. He hadn't planned to get into a relationship either, but to his credit, he was forced into both of them. Yet, they're both going by smoothly. Far too smoothly, and that's what makes him uncomfortable.
Author's Notes: I've been pretty nervous about advertising this, and in that hesitation got eight chapters up, but I'm linking to the first one. ^^; I just want to say that this is a modern alternative universe fanfiction. The history and set up loosely follow Naruto's history, (and I guess I can just say point blank--loosely) but the plot goes off on its own way. Please read and review, I'd love the thoughts. :D
( This is especially true of nations and cities, depressingly enough. It’s new, it’s fresh, it hasn’t been given a set niche for where it fits in the world. There will be those looking to take it and shape it to their own gain. It is only a matter of time. )

I just found out about an hour ago:

I am NOT missing this concert for anything. Sunday. OMFG. *SPAZ* I'm not so upset about missing all the summer concerts now~! Just gotta figure out how to get Ravnos in without a badge. (I shall have my dealer's one.) Hmmmm.
We're leaving for Atlanta in *counts* 4.5 hours! Because the people driving (I hesitate to call them "friends") are crazy, so we're leaving ass-early in the morning on Thursday for a convention that starts around noon on Friday. Oh well. All that driving behind us.

Since the dawn of time they've been blamed for all of life's oddities. A strange noise? It must be a ghost. Pets mangled and eaten? Maybe a werewolf got them. That pale man that never ventures out in the day? A vampire, surely. Children behaving badly must be changelings, and that table had to have been forced into your path by a mischievous sprite, now giggling at your misfortune.
The list goes on. For each being, there are hundreds of tales, most pure delusion of course, though much of it based in fact.
From Nessie and Sasquatch to the Bermuda Triangle and the Land of Mu, our world is filled with the unattainable, the unexplainable... that which we call Myth, or Legend.
Yet, like the Will O' the Wisp, or the ghost breath that sends a shiver down your spine, the truth tugs softly at our conscience. Whispers in the dark of a boogeyman in the shadows, or a fairy spinning gossamer tales in the corners of your mind. They are real. And in so many ways... they are just like you. They work. They feed. They even have children. And just like humans, those children go to school.
School however, isn’t always as just classes and homework. Strange old castles often have far more lurking about them than is so readily apparent. Ancient curses have once been set loose on the school. Memory loss. Sickness. Power switching... Was it an accident? Or are more sinister plans afoot? Will it happen again? Here you just never know...

Genre: It goes from Angst to Humor back and forth before settling on Drama.
Pairing: Hatake Kakashi/Umino Iruka, mentions of past Morino Ibiki/Umino Iruka.
Summary: When Kakashi chooses Iruka as his 'prize', Iruka angsts and is confused, annoyed and exasperated in great amounts. Ibiki is not amused. Obito just wants something spicy and for Rin's canary to finally kick the bucket.
Word Count: +/- 3 680.
Author Notes: This chapter ended up being a bit shorter than I first anticipated, but I like it. Maybe I'm finally learning to respect word economy. Another step further into this tangled mess I lovingly call plot, and one of the final 'staging' chapters, it introduces the last two players in the game. I really liked the flow of this one, it was quite therapeutic, considering the day I had. Comments and nitpicks entirely welcome.
